2026 prize
Our inaugural year is 2026, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to sponsor prizes at East Sussex College Hastings’ annual art department show. The college has a flourishing art department which offers qualifications at Level 1,2 and 3, as well as Art Foundation and undergraduate courses.
All courses culminate in a large art show will take over much of the college building on June 12, 2026.
The Pam Walker Art Fund will be sponsoring two prizes at this year’s show. One for level 3 (equivalent to A-level) students and one for Art Foundation students. The prize will be awarded to work which explores themes of place and locality - themes which Pam explored a lot in her own work.
The prize will be awarded by a panel of judges, including Richard Walker, Pam’s brother.
